EURAXESS UK Centres
We have developed a network of EURAXESS UK Centres across universities in the UK, to support researchers who are entering or leaving the country.
These EURAXESS UK Centres (formerly Local Contact Points) are contacts based at the institution, who will be able to provide you up to date information and advice relating to mobility to and from their research institution. Plus advice on moving to the UK, including advice on setting up banking, explaining medical rights and employment statuses. The contact points will be able to advise directly, or give guidance on where to find additional information, on finding accommodation. They are an excellent source of knowledge to help your transition to the UK. As well as offer information about their region of the UK, and the local area.
The centres are arranged below by the countries in the UK - England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
If you work at a research institution in the UK and would be interested in becoming a EURAXESS UK Centre, please contact us at EuraxessUK@britishcouncil.org.
