As part of recent EURAXESS country activity, the outcomes from webinars, focus groups and events from over the last year have resulted in new resources with contributions from a range of countries, focusing on Scientific Entrepreneurship.
Scientists need to work more closely with entrepreneurs and financiers to ensure groundbreaking research in Europe can be turned into successful business opportunities, according to Prof. Mark Ferguson, chair of the European Innovation Council's advisory board, as he commented in 2019.
Through the EURAXESS activity final recommendations have been created based on the activities from focus groups which collected useful information about the knowledge, gaps and needs that PhDs and early stage researchers face when talking about scientific entrepreneurship.
