In December the UK Government announced an extension to the Horizon Europe financial safety net. Whilst the Government’s priority remains association to Horizon Europe, it is committed to supporting the UK’s research and development sector to ensure ongoing collaboration opportunities for UK research. The announced guarantee will now cover all Horizon Europe calls that close on or before 31st March 2023.
At the end of 2022 the European Commission published the final versions of the Horizon Europe Work Programmes, which contain the 2023 and 2024 Funding Opportunities. The Work Programmes outline a number of funding opportunities for health researchers and innovators. The UK National Contact Points recently held some info days on the 2023-2024 Horizon Europe Funding Opportunities and the recording and slides are available online.
