Collaboration between research communities across the globe is a driving force behind scientific progress.
The Royal Society and the Wellcome Trust, together with a number of European partners, have released a statement outlining their vision for an ambitious and close future relationship between the UK and Europe.
The statement, endorsed by research-supporting organisations across Europe, including the British Council, recognises the importance of defining this relationship as the UK's exit from the European Union draws closer. It details four key issues that need to be addressed in order to maintain a successful and open partnership.
