We have big news! There will be a change of representation for EURAXESS UK.
The British Council has supported EURAXESS UK as the bridgehead organisation (BHO) for nearly 20 years, funded by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) in the last two years. It has been a vital part of our science portfolio, through a dynamic period for the UK in European science activities. We are now pleased to hand the BHO role over to a new organisation, who will be able to take EURAXESS UK in a new direction over the coming few years. We will continue to support as a EURAXESS centre and look forward to seeing how it develops.
We are very pleased to say that Careers Research and Advisory Centre (CRAC) have been chosen by the Department of Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) to represent EURAXESS UK.
CRAC manage the Vitae programme, and are already very familiar with EURAXESS through their work as the EURAXESS Career Development Centre for the UK and on other past and ongoing projects within the EU.
Vitae are experts in supporting the professional development of researchers, you can read more about their work here: https://vitae.ac.uk/
The British Council would like to thank the EURAXESS network and DSIT for the opportunities offered by representing EURAXESS for the UK over the years. We will continue to support Vitae in their new role and are excited to see their plans for EURAXESS UK.
Please keep checking this website, plus follow EURAXESS UK on X, Facebook and LinkedIn, for further EURAXESS UK news.
