About

Unfocussed photo of a large indoor space with people walking

A EURAXESS UK webinar for international researchers on mental health and wellbeing.

This 90-minute workshop considers the challenges of the research environment to wellbeing and mental health and some of the ways individuals can manage their stress both at work and elsewhere, to maintain a healthy and effective work life balance.

This workshop will:

  • Highlight the understood challenges of working in a research environment
  • Develop an understanding of the individual impact of those challenges on our wellbeing
  • Explore best practice approaches to reducing stress
  • Provide signposting on institutional support and wider sector resources

Please note that as the webinar will be interactive with breakout rooms, we have capped the registration number. If you register and another commitment prevents your attendance, please cancel your registration so that another person can take the place. If you register and are on the waiting list, a place may become available.

If you have accessibility issues (for example, a hearing or visual impairment) and would require assistance to attend the webinar, then please email EuraxessUK@britishcouncil.org in good time, so we can discuss your requirements and make the necessary arrangements for you to attend.

This event will be recorded, apart from the Question and Answer session at the end. If you do not wish to be recorded, please do not turn your camera on when this is an option.

Registration questions will be used to produce statistics, your personal details will not be shared with other organisations.
